Upstream Beginner A1+ is a modular secondary-level course for learners of the English level at CEF A1+ level. The series combines active English learning with variety of lively topics presented in themed units.
This series is specially designed for students from absolute beginner to intermediate level. Each book consists of five modules and provides systematic preparation in all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - required at these levels.
The Student´s Book and the Workbook are designed to be covered in approximately 60 to 80 hours of classroom work. Upstream Beginner A1+ is a modular secondary-level course for learners of the English level at CEF A1+ level.
The Teacher´s Book for the Student´s Book contains step-by-step teaching notes, extra ideas for optional activities and a full key to the exercises in the Student´s Book.
The Test Booklets contain appropriate photocopiable assessment tests as well as a mid-year and exit test allowing teachers to assess students/ progress throughout the course.
The Upstream Beginner A1+ DVD has been primarily designed to consolidate the language taught in the Upstream Beginner A1+ Coursebook. However, the content of the DVD has been chosen to meet the needs of students using other coursebooks as well.
